90mm Hollow Hex Force Torque Sensor and Load Cell

Description

The 6-axes sensors measure the 6 components of the force: 3 forces Fx, Fy, Fz, and 3 moments Mx, My, Mz simultaneously. The measuring ranges are between 400N / 36Nm and 800 kN / 36Nm. Each sensor is delivered with a calibration certificate and the inter-channel decoupling matrix.

These rigid, compact and precise sensors (0.5%) are integrated in robotics, test benches for packaging, automotive, biomechanics, etc. conditioning and acquisition is available with CAN interface, USB, Industrial Ethernet, RS422,RS485,Modbus, etc …

6-axis stands for the 3 geometrical axes (X-Y-Z) and the rotation around them (3+3). So basically, the sensor can detect the forces in all three directions and the torques around those directions (axes). It can also combined measurements for all these forces and torques, and then the signal can interpret what is going on with the robot tool.

It is mostly used to make analysis of direction and magnitude of force and torque, and has found a wide range of applications, such as robotics or test of unknown force/torque.
