Applications

The 6-axis force sensor is a device used to ensure the accuracy of robot applications. The sensor is designed for robot joints and is usually mounted on the wrist of the robotic arm to provide accurate force measurements for all three geometric coordinates ( Fx, Fy, Fz ) and their surrounding moments or torques ( Mx, My, Mz ). Force / torque sensors are used for product testing, robot assembly, grinding, polishing, and other industrial applications where stable positions and high repeatability of trajectories are required. The sensor is particularly important in complex assembly operations. The robot will encounter different problems ( misalignment, clinging, force testing, etc. ), and the precise motion control of the force applied to the end mechanical parts ( robot end effector ) is crucial. The six-axis force sensor allows the controller to identify the forward direction of the robot tool and improve the dexterity of the final effector.
KWR82 series forcer sensor has excellent bending resistance, and is successfully applied to propeller products. During the movement of the aircraft propeller, the force condition of its different attitudes will be transmitted to the control terminal for feedback in real time, and then adjusts the inclination angle or speed of the propeller to cope with different airflow environments or flight conditions. There is a situation where the torque value is largre in the process of propeller test, especially in the state of flight attitude angle, and the torque value is small under low speed airflow, therefore a 6-axis force sensor with high bending resistance is a necessary choice. The KWR82 series sensors of Kunwei Technology have successfully carried out this test task and achieved excellent test results.
